Shrek The Musical Manchester Theatre reviews
Disappointing
This play seemed to be a mash up of unrelated songs - There was not much of a story line that I could follow. I was expecting it to follow allong the lines of the movie a little more - it was related but totally different.
There were some very poor attempts at humor, very amateurish as well. If the "fart" song was to help bring in the 8 year old crowd - then it probably succeeded. It really turned off ths 50 year old.
The acting was ok but, i have seen better productions by travelling companies.
The character of Lord Farquot was very good - very talented actor
